"Sign of the Times"-A TV Program in ASL...

Hi! And, welcome to the official blog for "Sign of the Times"!

"Sign of the Times" is a project in television innovation. It is a short web show that contains mostly sign language, for Deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers, as well as those learning, and interested in learning Sign.

The show's content will vary, and will include signed musical performances, and skits, as well as entertainment-related discussions, and a brief signing lesson for beginners, in each episode.

This show is being started as a project for a Broadcasting class, by someone who has, recently discovered a passion, and aptitude for one of her other courses of study, American Sign Language. (That student is me.)

Though, for the class, we only have to come up with scripts, I would really like to record an episode of the show, each week...So, that is what I am going to try to do.

The pilot script will appear on here, just after this...And, hopefully, the video will be up online, within the next few days.

Comments, or suggestions about the show, and/or its contents are welcome, as long as they are polite, and respectful.

In theory, this would be a show on television...But, for the time being, the internet will be its home.
